Western Plow Pre-Season Service

Remove plow from truck to ensure the vehicle mount is securely attached and in good working order.
Clean, tighten, and apply dielectric grease to all electrical connections.
Drain and flush the hydraulic reservoir and turn rams and refill with new hydraulic fluid.
Inspect, tighten, and/or replace any damaged or leaking hoses or fittings.
Lubricate all grease fittings and inspect pivot points for proper operation.
Inspect Cutting Edge (backdrop if equipped) and mounting hardware.
Inspect, tighten, adjust, or replace any worn or missing hardware.
Reconnect the plow and test all electrical and light functions along with all hydraulic operation.
